Welcome to our site.  For authorities and other organisations, the publications listed below (including the new 'Parenting Development Wheels') offer you the chance to commission  'customised'' production (with your logo and other details on). And because all of the research, production and set up work has been done, you can save on the time and costs associated with the development of such specialist publications. Please scroll down the page to see all of the available publications, get information about them and find out about ordering your branded copies.

Following their initial production, some of these publications have also now been adapted as practical reference material for the parents/carers to purchase individually, and for other other professional organisations, such as children's centres, settings and for childminders to order.  Please click on any of the links below to find out more details about a specific publication and to also access the order forms for it. To buy online now, please click here, otherwise please visit our 'How to order' page before completing your order and to find the links to our order forms.

Other publications and training As well as the publications listed here on the site, there are other products that are also available for production. Although they are not available for individual purchase, they are ready made to be customised, branded and adapted to meet the needs of local authorities and other organisations working within this sector. These include a Children’s Centres Evaluation Pack, Parent Ambassador Brochure, Foundation Stage Development Packs, Playing is Learning Booklets and Childminder Toolkits. New and updated materials are always being produced and developed or you may wish to develop a publication in partnership with us.

We also produce publications in other languages, so if your targets include meeting the needs of other communities and producing information for them, we can produce our publications in this way. For instance, ‘Playing is Learning’ has been produced in Somali, Polish, Tamil, Arabic, Pashto and Romanian, as well as English.  Please click here to get in touch and we'll send you more details.

Brand your publications and save money and time! 'Customisation' offers local authorities and other larger organisations the chance to ‘brand’ publications with their own logo and contact details. And at a time when budgets are going to be tight, you can save on the costs and time normally associated with the development and production of a new item or publication like those shown on this site - because its all been done! That’s all of the set up work, including copywriting and editing, design, artwork, templates and pre-production tooling. This means much less work for you to do, faster production and less to budget for!  It’s also a good way of getting the information out there for use in your own community, whilst promoting your organisation (for instance you may wish to have copies in each of your settings, in children's centres, or to give to your registered childminders).

Training workshops for staff in settings and children’s centres have also been developed and these are ready and available to present in your local authority area. These workshops will also benefit childminders and others working within early years. They will help attendees to develop their knowledge in marketing, advertising, communications, customer service and the development and production of publicity materials. These workshops include 'Practical Communications' - for non-marketers, a workshop on developing basic skills to promote your organisation. Produced and presented by chartered marketers at KMMD, please click here for more details
