For authorities and other organisations the publications listed on this
site have been written by practitioners at Harrow Council. They are produced in partnership with our colleagues at KMMD
Publishing. We have been working with KMMD for over a decade now and they also work with professionals in other authorities and
organisations to develop new publications. As these partnerships have developed,
KMMD have in turn developed the 'customised' publications model, where
publications are developed with specialist practitioners and these publications
are then available for you to commission your own branded copies. It's an
approach that tries to avoid you needing to reinvent the wheel when it comes to
publications.
This 'customised' approach therefore offers you and your organisation/authority the chance
to get your own ready-made 'customised
information based' publications, without the time and costs associated with developing new similar materials
yourself. The publications, including the fantastic DevelopmentWheels™, which
we first developed with KMMD, can be produced with your logo and other details
on, making them truly yours. And, as the partnerships
continue to develop,
the portfolio of material that can be 'customised' is growing. We will
therefore finish integrating this site into the main KMMD Publishing site very
soon and you will then have access to the full portfolio of publications on
offer.
COMING SOON - We are developing a new range of items with KMMD called Early Years Developmentors™. There are also new DevelopmentWheels™ covering Complex needs (ASD/SLD/PMLD), the New EYFS, Healthy Eating and Early Intervention. Click here to visit the KMMD Publishing website for details of these.
Already over forty local authorities and other larger organisations have taken advantage of this opportunity and because all of the research, production and set up work has been done on the publications, you can save on the time and costs associated with the development of similar new specialist publications yourselves.
